Religious Image for Sale on eBay (Again!)
Apparently, a few days ago, the owner of a wooden rocking chair with a knot that was said to bear a likeness to Jesus withdrew the item from eBay because the bids did not get high enough.
There was only one bid for the chair, and the seller, said to be located in Canada, decided that $5,000 was not enough to persuade him to part with the item. With a starting price of $650, the item received 17,000 hits on eBay.
Now, curiously, another “Rocking Chair with Image of Jesus” has appeared on eBay only days after the other one was withdrawn. But this time, the seller is identified as located in Sheffield, England.
The same item? - or just a miraculous co-incidence? If you search eBay auctions for item ID 7316604806 you’ll find the picture of the newly listed item and all will be revealed. By the way, we are not associated in any way with either of the sellers!
