Everyone who registers on eBay is required to provide contact
information which include their name, postal address, email address and telephone
number. It’s important to keep this information up to date because apart
from the fact that other members may have valid reasons for getting in touch,
eBay can impose penalties such as suspending your account, if emails they
send to you bounce. But privacy of personal information is also a sensitive issue for
most of us and so to help protect the contact information of all its’ members,
eBay imposes a number of rules about when your personal information can be
made available to other members. Contact information for eBay members can be obtained only if they
are directly involved in your current transactions or transactions occurring in
