eBay Shops are a valued part of the eBay community and sellers wishing to close their shops are encouraged to contact eBay first to see if any issues that are causing problems might be resolved.

You can contact eBay through the Help page entitled “Closing Your eBay Shop” – you can use our link to the main eBay site to get there.

If you do decide to go ahead and close your shop, there are a few thing to note:-

  • Any Shop Inventory listings which you have will end automatically.
  • Any Online Auction and Fixed Price items which you have listed will stay active for their remaining durations or until the item is sold.
  • A pro-rata credit will be given on your next invoice for the remaining days in the billing cycle for your shop subscription fees.

The procedure for closing an eBay Shop is as follows:-

  • First make sure you are signed in using your eBay ID and password, then go to your My eBay page.
  • Select Manage Subscriptions in the My Account menu at the left side of the page.
  • On the subscriptions page, select "Unsubscribe" in the eBay Shops category.
  • When the “confirmation” box appears, proceed with the confirmation to close your eBay shop.
