Subscribing to Picture Manager offers frequent sellers the benefits of simplified picture management, watermarking for picture security and the ability to place multiple pictures on a listing at no extra listing fee charge.

Copying pictures contained in the standard eBay Picture Services area just requires a single click. All pictures that are currently in use on active listings, together with listings that have finished in the previous 90 days, are copied to Picture Manager and a confirmation email is sent to you.

Picture Manager attempts to detect duplicate pictures so that your storage space is optimised, but if you have already manually copied some images to Picture Manager, then there will be duplication. Be careful not to delete duplicates you added to listings using Picture Manager or they won’t appear on those listings.

It is good practice to check “In Use” links in Picture Manager as this will display which listings use which pictures. If you used the one-click option to copy pictures, these images are not linked to pictures included in the listings from which they were copied. Therefore, these pictures will not show “In Use” links and can be deleted if you don't want them.

When you subscribed to Picture Manager, you will have selected a storage capacity. If the pictures being copied exceed this capacity, eBay continues with the copy and makes an automatic upgrade to the next level of subscription. An email will be sent to notify you and you can revert to the original subscription level after deleting the excess pictures.
