If you have many different product lines, managing these products and associated listings can be a headache. Selling Manager Pro helps you to categorise and filter your different products by organising them into different folders.

“My Products” is the default folder, but you can create a maximum of 1000 folders and subfolders in a logical “architecture” which makes adding, deleting and changing products a much easier task. If you do reach the maximum number of folders, you will have to delete redundant folders before you can add any more.

You can also rename, re-locate, copy, and delete your product folders by following the steps below:-

  • To create a new folder, make sure you are signed in and then select “My eBay”.

  • Use "Inventory" link in the menu bar.

  • Click on "Manage Folders" towards the top of the Inventory page and this will take you to the “Manage Folders” page.

  • Select the “Add Folder” function and type a maximum 45 character name into the Folder Name box – remember that top-level folders are required to have unique names.

  • You can also enter a comment line for this folder up to 55 characters long.

  • When you are done, click “Save”.

Using the same procedure, you can change the name of a folder, make a copy of it in another folder, move it to another top-level folder, or delete it. Remember though, that folders at the same level must have unique names.
