There are some differences between Selling Manager and the Pro version in the area of revising and re-listing. Pro contains extra features including automation rules, inventory quantity auto-updating,

description footers and listing templates.

Here are the main additional features supported by the Pro version:-

  • There is an “automation rules” facility that can be used to define the circumstances under which listing templates will be used automatically to create new listings. The events triggering automated listing include – item unsold, scheduled date/time and on-sale quantity threshold.

  • You can create and save standard description footers with specific messages – perhaps your default terms and conditions - which can be added at the bottom of the item description when you list an item. Each time an item is re-listed, either manually or automatically, this default footer description is automatically included in addition to the original item listing description.

When you revise or re-list a product with a listing template, you are shown a number of options on the “Review & Submit” page:-

  • If you choose the “Submit Only” option, any changes you made to the listing template are not saved, although Pro will continue to track the listing template success ratio.

  • If you select “Save edits”, your change to the listing template will be saved and success ratio tracking will continue.

  • You can “Save edits” to a new name listing template, in which case, success tracking will apply separately to the new template.
