eBay is more than just an online auction house, it’s also a community of people with a shared interest. Many eBay members have useful experience or knowledge which they can share with others in the community by writing guides and reviews.

From My eBay, select "My Reviews & Guides" and you will be able to manage the reviews and guides you've written, using the “action” column to do following:-

  • Using “Edit/Display” will allow you to create or make changes to your review or guide. If you were part way through building a guide and saved it as “work in progress”, you can retrieve it for completion and publication.
  • The “Do Not Display” function hides your review or guide from public viewing while you make changes.
  • If you do not wish your guide to appear again, it can also be permanently deleted.

“My Reviews and Guides” also shows the status of reviews and guides:-

  • The “Displayed” status indicates that all eBay members can read them.
  • The “Not Displayed” status refers to a guide which you have created and saved, but not yet published – probably because you have more work to do before it is complete. On very rare occasions, the eBay review team will not permit publication because of a breach of policy in the guide.
  • The “Submitted” status is for a recently completed guide that will be published after review by eBay and is “frozen” so you will not be able to make changes until after publication.
