Auctions – Reference and Guidance Non-circumvention |
|
|
|
As a guiding principle, eBay does not permit the listing of items
which enable or encourage infringement of copyrights or intellectual
property. This prohibition also includes any listing or item which encourages
the use of computer software or electronic devices that are designed to overcome
copy-protection features. Items that include hardware or software intended to enable users
to make illicit copies by "ripping" copy-protected CD-ROMs, DVDs,
CDs, video games or software programmes must not be listed on eBay. Here are
a few examples of items that are not allowed to be listed on eBay:-
